1. "Interpretation of breast cancer markers ER, PR, and HER2"
Fifty breast cancers will be available for evaluation in 2012. Results from peer-comparisons as well as those from several Canadian reference laboratories will be posted. Each participant will be assigned a unique identification code in order to preserve annonymity. A CIQC Certificate will be issued upon successful completion of this program.
This program will be launched in near future. The start of this program was delayed as upgrading of our web site is in progress. It is planned that the first 5 cases are available as a pilot program in February 2012.
2. "Pearls in Diagnostic Immunohistochemistry"
In response to your submitted questions, invited experts will share their opinion on what constitutes the most useful marker panels for specific diagnostic entities and/or share their opinions on the relative value of specific markers.
